Hello everyone! My name is Shaine and I am a student at SNHU getting my degree in game development and programming aiming to specialize in UI/UX. Whenever there is a group project, I try to assign myself the role of UI programmer/designer as it not only interests me but I like being able to build upon my skills. Anyone have any tips for someone like me just starting out in the field be it things I could read about, tutorials to follow, programs to learn.

I have experience with Photoshop and other adobe products, Unreal, C++/C#/Python, and I'm an active gamer on mobile, ps4, and PC. I am working on a portfolio – which I am hosting on a site I designed myself to show off that skillset as well. So please share some words of wisdom. Thank you!
