setting up game programming group for beginners
I''m willing to go out on a limb and try and get
this thing going. If that''s alright with the group.
I''ve noticed most people in the group have knowledge of
Visual C++. I would like to decide first of all on a
SDK. I know a little Direct X 7.0, Direct X 8.0. Let''s
first of all, come to an agreement on what platform we
will use. Before we E-MAIL each other to death, let''s
get some basic things organized. Because there are so
many interested, we might not be working on the same
project, but sub-divide into maybe two or three projects.
There are too many of you to organize into a single
project. To start, we need two group leaders. I prefer
everyone programs the same language. So I''m going divide
you into the Visual C++ people, and Visual Basic
people. Which one you choose will depend on which one you
most comfortable with. These groups will be further sub-
divided into common SDK people.
Needed: Visual C++ Leader, Visual Basic Leader.

Your first post made less sense than your grammar, and your second one shows you have split personalities.

1. The community started by Kezz? No. GameDev? Yes.
2. No, it is not easy to organize stuff like this. It takes a lot of work (from the organizer and the people who want to be in the group). These groups can be helpful to the people in them because you have a database of people who are probably at about your level of programming skill, which is why I volunteered to help out.
