No matter what, I can't ever seem to get wxWidgets to build under VC7.1. It would really be nice if the Win32 download included binaries, rather than forcing me to build it myself. I want to use the toolkit for my open-source take on OneNote, rather than using Qt (although the latter is becoming more and more of an option).

Why not use GTK+? I used it for my last contract project, and I think I'm going to be sticking with it for awhile.

Didn't know that GTK+ was available for Win32 development. What is its license, and does it do Mac, too?

It's LGPL. Definitely works on OSX, but I don't know about MacOS versions before that.
