Question on how to control the Niagara Particles in Unreal Engine 5

Still very new to UE5 and I want to use Niagara fluid simulations for water. How should I go about programming player control over the particles? For example, if I want the particles to start gathering or dispersing based on different inputs. Also, what do I “Cast to” to reference the particles?
