Well after much soul searching, I have decided to put programming on hold and pursue optician classes, to study about the eye and glasses is very interesting, wish me all the best.

Although there is no reason why you can't do some programming while you do the optician stuff. Something to think about. . .

@pbivens67 No, it's not that. You're a novice trying to learn how to program by trying to learn one of the most difficult specialties in programming. Game programming is second or third in difficulty to system programming. You need to master the fundamentals before going this route.

That's fair. I think the other path you are choosing is worthwhile. This isn't for everyone, just make sure you're doing this for the right reasons.
