All I can add is that most of these checks are automated by design, because we don't have the staff levels to give everything personal attention. So we apologize where the checks are impersonal or make mistakes, but it's important to have some checks as otherwise spammers are able to game the system and make Gamedev.net worse for everyone. That is something that has been happening lately so the checks will probably get tweaked to try and strike a balance.
