We recently launched a new monetization platform and are looking for some feedback.  Our platform allows people to create crowdfunding campaigns and then offer those campaigns through games (think GoFundMe inside of an app).  From a use case perspective, we envision organizations such as school PTAs or Children's Hospitals launching campaigns that push playing games to raise money.

From a developer perspective, we see this as a new way to monetize an app.  Using our API, the developer can incorporate an IAP / pay wall to offer premium content (e.g. tournaments, game customizations, turn off ads, etc.).  Most of the donation will go to the campaign, but the developer will get a small fee as well.  We also see this as a way to get an app in front of new groups of people that might not see the app otherwise (not to mention the brand recognition from the good will).

We call this FunFund and would love feedback/advice on the concept.
