Good luck on all that.

Based on the tone of your posts I have to assume you're coming from a life of privilege and money because you're asking about attending some of the most expensive private schools -- DigiPen is a for profit private school, in fact -- and listing some of the most expensive regions of the country.

Most people take whatever jobs they can find. If the job is to work in an art style you don't care for, your options are to either do the job or quit the job and find another.  There is work to be found, but it usually isn't what you want, it is what you can do. Sometimes the job you get matches what you want to do, but that's an exception to the rule.  Seek it out when you can, but accept that those moments of bliss are short-lived.

If you have difficulty getting your dream job --- and most people have times in their career where they can't work in their dream job --- then you'll need to take different work.  In the art world that can mean art for games you don't like, art for products you disagree with, art outside of games like advertising materials or business graphics design or similar.

I already posted it, but again there are a few sites like gamedevmap that show employers in various regions. The regions you're talking about have long lists of game companies.
