How much to include in the Phase I launch of a game?

You're putting the cart before the horse. In order to market your services, you first need to be in a marketable position.

The recommended route to learn everything you need to know is 1. get a degree, 2. get a job in games, 3. save up money and build connections and learn the industry, then 4. hang out your own shingle and/or start your own company.  There is lots of learning in each and every step along the way.
