Hello All!

I'd like some advice from people in the Industry or by recruiters,
on how to get my first job in the Gaming Industry as a Programmer.

I finished College a Month ago, Will have a Unity3D Android Game on the Google Store soon.
My College Program is "Analyst Programmer". Not exactly Geared towards Game Programming,
But I've learned many useful tools there. (Databases, UML, C++, PHP, and more)

Edit : I started programming on my own 2 years ago to make games. Then went to college for a diploma.
I Have extensive experience in Unity3D, and Working knowledge of SDL and OpenGL.

Any advice is Welcome, thank you.

That's a really good start. Demonstrating that you can actually see a project through to completion will catch people's attention

I don't really think that's going to damage your chances at all. Programs focusing on game development are a relatively new thing, and really the point of a degree is to learn how to learn efficiently.

As far as actually applying for jobs, regularly check the websites of development studios that you're interested in. Not all jobs run through recruitment agencies so it pays to keep a careful watch.

Also you need to be prepared for the fact that you might have to move cities to get your foot in the door.
