Thank You letters after interviews
Quick question - had a long interview recently with many people at a company, and was wondering if I should send a thank you letter directly to their manager of developers, or just their HR person?
I don't know their manager's email, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out (they use a First.Last@company.com system).. but is it rude/uncouth to send an e-mail as such without first having gotten it from them?
To whoever was your contact at the company, thank them and request that you would like forward your thanks to the interviewers.
Didn't get the job -- probably because I was half asleep at the interview.
I've learned to put the interview ahead of my current job -- my employer caught wind of the interview, and scheduled me to close, so instead of driving across the state in the afternoon and getting sleep, I arrived in-town around 3 AM and didn't sleep at all. Bleh.
