John Carmack wrote in a .plan update a while ago how 3d textures would be a wonderful way to do dynamic lighting... unfortunately there is NO support for 3d textures in any of the consumer 3d cards and as far as I know there is no support planned any time soon.... so I can't give you a screen shot ... sorry.

What do you mean by 3D textures?
- Enviromental Bump-Mapping has been implemented into Matrox's G400 series of cards. But nobody has implemented a voxel engine yet.
Has anyone used OpenGL 3d textures in a practical application from which they could send me a screen capture. Im interested in using them if they are what I think they might be (if that makes sense) . Anyways I'd just like to see what they look like in action.
