The X Game Library http://www.deanclose.net This is a graphics library for DOS C++ programmers. it is aimed mainly at people using the Borland Turbo C++ compiler but should work with most DOS compilers. It features unchained VGA display with 320*240 (square) resolution. Full palette, virtual pages and drawing controls. Full text controls including a font editor to make your own fonts. Full bitmap controls using the XMG format (a program is available to convert bmp''s to xmg''s). Full input routines (keyboard, mouse) featuring software interupts (never miss an input event). And a system timer (make all your games run the same speed on different systems). Several examples of the library are available for download including the font editor and the program to convert bmp''s to xmg''s. Currently the library itself isn''t officially released but it is available with the source code for the other programs. Take a look. Im sure there are still SOME DOS programmers out there. Many students learn C++ with a DOS compiler.
Thus is my Legacy...(Or some other witty one liner)
