Just out of curiosity really, does anyone know how much it would cost to get a licence to use a popular music track? Either in the game itself, or just in like a demo movie. I was thinking of something like a Prodigy track. Anyone know?

In the UK ask at http://www.mcps.co.uk and see the music biz FAQ on peoplesound.com for more info

Depending on the popularity of the song in question, it could range from a few thousand dollars to a few tens of thousands of dollars to even a few hundreds of thousands of dollars (US).

You might try checking on ASCAP''s web page (http://www.ascap.com) for more specific information.
