Project : Uhf1016 is *mostly* dead, not all dead...

"Mostly dead and all dead are two completely different things" Okay, well i''m still putting it aside, but for those of you that like it I want you to know that even though it won''t be my main priority anymore, i''m going to spend a little time each day, tweak it a little bit, and then add the real graphics sound and music... just so i can say i finished it... I can''t seriously change it to be more fun without completely changing the nature of the game and that means gutting, cleaning, and re-frying... er... hehe i mean it means re-writing alot of the code... Although it will be a while before it''s totally finished because i''ll be devoting my efforts to my new game which will be an arcade style game... It''s not as though i''m completely giving up on it.. it''s just it''s too much of a hassle to re-think everything, strip it down and re-write stuff, so i might as well write a new game... And that''s just what i''m doing, only my new one will be Arcade style... So thanks alot for playing it :-) If any of you guys can throw in any new wrinkles to make it more challenging other than the rogue blocks, and it doesn''t re-quire a complete re-write, then let me know and i''ll see about implementing them and giving you credit for them on my credits screen... Okay so to recap - I''m putting it aside but not dropping it entirely. I will tweak it, add real graphics, sound, and music, but it will take a very long time. If you have any ideas that don''t re-quire a re-write email me and i''ll give you credit for them... -Keith W. Could I make a reccomndation or two? How about Voices like "Good Job!" and "You''ve reached level two!" I could help with that. And a storyline.
DeShawn, i''m not so interested in stuff like that at this moment, i''m just concerned about the gameplay... i''ll put in cool stuff like that when I finish the game core completely...

I might have some stuff like that :-)

Story line for a bunch of falling blocks is kinda hard to do...probably not necessary either =) I think just more game effects and whatnot would make it funner. Or if you want gameplay enhancements, put more to it than just changing colors. What if you had some kind of maze to navigate your block through and also a certain color it needed to be...then you press a key to place it and you only have a certain amount of time to do it? That could make it fun.
