Vacation, baby, yeah!

I am now officially on vacation, yes, thank you very much. For the next 9 days, I'm not even going to think about work. Work does not exist. There is no such thing. My phone will be shut off for most of the time, and if any no-account, low-down, dirty contractors call me up wanting me to work, they can talk to my voicemail, dammit. I break wind in their general direction.

I'm going to haul a CD with Accidental on it along with me. I can do the Windows test build in Wyoming on my sister's computer easily enough, and maybe have things ready to upload right when I get back. Assuming, of course, that I feel like it. I'm on vacation, dammit, and if I want to slack off and do absolutely nothing, then you can't stop me. [razz]

On a marginally related note, Arizona has turned me into a big wuss. I'm not certain I'm prepared to spend a week in northern Wyoming. It's cold there. They get snow--honest to God, snow. Actual white flakes of solidified water heaped up in various nooks and crannies hither and yon. Snowmen. Icicles. Frostbite. The whole frozen enchilada. It got up to 70 degrees here in Phoenix today; the sun was shining, the birds were singing, there wasn't a single damned flake of snow to be seen--and I liked it that way. I was just fine with it. That is all.

I should note that when I was in Arizona a few years ago with my family it did in fact snow and accumulate about an inch. The valets at the hotel were having snowball fights. I am dead serious. It was completely insane.
