Berries

Haven't been able to do a whole lot, what with unpacking and being sick, but I did spend the time this morning to do a berry bush and a red berry icon:

Berries will be used in brewing various potions and creating various inks for the writing of scrolls. Hopefully, once the dust from moving 1400 miles back to the frozen ass-end of nowhere settles, I'll get fully back into the swing of things. In the meantime, I'll just settle for doing an icon or a graphic here and there as I can, and ironing out bugs.

I always have the best intentions of doing work on trips but I can never end up getting motivated enough. Worse is that when I get back it usually takes me a few days to get back into the groove. Picking up and moving would only make that worse I'd guess. :)

Looks good, I like the soft transitions on the ground and rocks. Though the object shadows could be slightly brighter I think, not going all the way to black. Are you using Sculptris for rendering? I have never managed to get it to render in orthographic projection.

Keep it up, hope you get well soon! =)

Mike Bossy: Yeah, I sometimes try to do work when on a trip, but this time I knew it was just going to be too crazy, so I didn't even bring my computer along.

O-san: Thanks. I use Sculptris to create the initial model, but I export to .OBJ and do all my rendering in Blender. I have a .blend setup with lights and camera just the way I want them, so that lighting is consistent across all models.
