So, GDC is getting all set to kick off tomorrow morning; it's really confusing to be writing this on a Monday night and not yet have any conference-related things to talk about.

See, I have to write something on Monday night, because the rest of the week, by the time I stagger back to the hotel, drizzling delectable droplets of news to you guys is about the last thing on my mind. (Yes, the monkey-and-hamster-powered-bulldozer outranks you. Sorry.)


I'm hoping the critical reception for the Epoch demo kit is slightly better than the response that Release 9 has had so far (namely, no feedback and a whopping one download of the release itself). There's some stuff in the works that might end up being very big (and good) news, but I'll have more to say on that front later in the week. For both of you who follow the Epoch project (hi mom), don't fret - Thursday night I'll either be exuberantly ecstatic, or I'll be on here raving about how I'm going to massacre the bulk of the human race in a blood-rage frenzy of anger.


But yeah, GDC. GDC is going to be good, I think. There's some changes to the venue from years past, so it's probably also going to be obscenely crowded; but that just makes it easier to level up my pick-pocketing skills.


I mean... uh... crowds are scary. Yeah.
